For Mentors
Share your expertise with the next generation of talented and motivated scientists
There is an immense pool of talented and extremely motivated researchers in our scientific ecosystem. Most face increasingly difficult barriers in reaching positions of greater responsibility within academia, or transitioning to careers within public policy, social engagement, education, industry, or entrepreneurship. Having highly trained scientists in all areas of society benefits us all.
The BIST Mentoring Programme gives people in leadership positions the opportunity to engage meaningfully as mentors with the next generation of researchers, inspiring and guiding them to achieve their professional goals. Mentors receive professional training to help them build a unique set of mentorship skills, and will benefit from building their professional network.
